For over 100 years the name Lech / Zürs am Arlberg has stood for noble ambiance, impressive landscape, perfect powder snow and gastronomy that meets the highest standards. This is the most exclusive resort in all of Austria!

The ski areas of Lech and Zürs are spread out over three mountains with 32 lifts and have over 110 km of manicured piste slopes of mostly intermediate ability. If you wish to ski the whole circuit, you must do so in a clockwise direction. When fresh snow does fall, this area is an absolute pleasure. You can enjoy the fresh Alberg powder all day long, as Lech & Zürs do not get skied out as quickly as many other resorts.

If you are looking for more advanced terrain, make sure you purchase the Alberg Ski Pass. This pass includes St. Anton, Stuben and St. Christoph, which is a 15-30 minute drive and the pass will cover the free ski bus to get you there and back.

There are three main villages in this area: Lech, Zürs, and Oberlech. With the majority of hotels (most of which are 4 or 5 star) located in Zürs and Oberlech, Lech is still mainly a traditional village centered around the town church.

These hotels were built in classic Austrian-Swiss architecture and are very comfortable, service oriented and expensive with excellent food. In fact, most of the restaurants you find on the mountain and in town are associated with the hotels. The après ski atmosphere is nowhere as lively as it is in nearby St. Anton, as most of the clientele in Lech & Zürs are looking for a more relaxing time.
